THE ROLLINS FAMILY FOUNDATION - HARLEM NIGHTS PLUS Rittenhouse Sq Ball Photos Link

What a whirlwind of a week. 3 columns in Philly.com, 2 columns in PhillyMag, 8 posts on PhillyChitChat.com and 2 appearances on Fox 29's Good Day Philadelphia, crazy fun. Thank you so much to my tipsters (It's Always Sunny in Philly, and the peeps who told me about where The Rolling Stones party was, if you didn't catch me on Fox today, I'll have more details of their stay in Monday's PCC entry. I really do enjoy bringing these stories to you. I'm curious, and I like to share the results.
Join us for a charming evening reminiscent of 1920s Harlem that entails live jazz music, culinary delights, delicious cocktails, cigars, and so much more. Harlem Nights will be an unforgettable evening filled with fine dining and festive entertainment to raise funds and awareness for the Jimmy Rollins Family Foundation. Plus, there will be a special performance by two celebrity dancers from ABC’s hit show, Dancing with the Stars. Exciting live and silent auction items will be available for bidding. - See more at: http://philliesnation.com/archives/2013/05/jimmy-rollins-family-foundation-harlem-nights/#sthash.7UHRhIKr.dpuf
The Jimmy Rollins Family Foundation held their 3rd annual event last night. For the past two years it was held at the Constitution Center, but this year Johari and Jimmy Rollins (with daughter Camryn) went for a more intimate, 1920's supper club atmosphere,
with a live jazz by CTO Entertainment,
cigar smoking, food from the period. The night was a homerun as soon as I walked through the door it was as if I were transported back in time. The best part nearly all of their guests embraced the idea and came dressed as if they had the secret password to a speakeasy.
Carlos Ruiz, Michelle Deviearis, Manager, Phillies Community and Charity Events and John Mayberry. I didn't get to the event til 9:25PM (and it was over at 10PM), as I had 3 events beforehand, including a client shoot. But thanks to Josh Goldberg, The Rollins and the nice women (I think Jimmy's sister) at the VIP rope who said "That's Hughe let him upstairs to the VIP room" for allowing me to shoot them at the end of the night. Phillies I missed included the Hamels and the Papelbon's, The Ryan Howards and a few others.

The proceeds raised will benefit the Jimmy Rollins Family Foundation, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to support young adults living with chronic health issues, as well as to support families who are struggling financially with extracurricular activities for their children. - See more at: http://philliesnation.com/archives/2013/05/jimmy-rollins-family-foundation-harlem-nights/#sthash.7UHRhIKr.dpuf
