series has been airing all week. He returns in May for a concert at the
Keswick! He drank a house Lager, KNOB Creek. He did not sing but,
enjoyed watching the karaoke. On twitter he called it THE BEST KARAOKE

Actor Clint Howard (Ron Howard’s brother) was in Philly last week to
film a small part in a movie called “The Church”.

Shot mainly at First
Corinthian Baptist Church on 51st and Pine the area where the writer
director Dom Franklin (2nd pic) grew up. It’s a thriller/horror movie.
Philadelphia actor Matthew Nadu plays a developer who wants to tear down
the Church to build an office building. Nadu tells me that Howard was a great guy, very friendly with everyone, although it was quite eery talking to him as he had his make-up on all day and it looked very believable that he was a spirit.

Congrats to Philly actor Matt Bishop who has a reoccurring guest star role on the HBO show
‘Veep’.  He appears in 2 episodes in the upcoming second season which premieres April 14. I
play “Shaun”, the boyfriend of “Sue”, one of the main characters played
by actress Sufe Bradshaw.

The show stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Seinfeld, New Adventures of Old Christine), Tony Hale (Arrested Development, Numb3rs, Chuck), Gary Cole (Office Space, Dodgeball, Talladega Nights, Family Guy, The West Wing), Matt Walsh (The Hangover, Due Date, Ted),
and many more. The first season was nominated for a Primetime Emmy
Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus won the 2012 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, and she was nominated for a 2013 Golden Globe Award.
