Photos ST PATRICK'S DAY in Philly: Fashion Fiasco

It was probably the warmest St. Patrick's Day I can remember. The crowds were out in full force, some getting to the bars at 10AM vowing to last to closing time.

Inside McGillin's - I love their wings & burgers

I guess teal is a version of green, Gavin says.
Look who's engaged

This year lots of festive people dressed as if it were Halloween.
some were fashionable non-the-less

Everyone's Irish on St. Patrick's Day
Rendezvous on Locust didn't have much of a line like the traditional Irish Bars. These folks said we're just as cool without having to put up with the BS line. (Just as cook, & toasted quicker I'd say)
Texting is in vogue

The Black Sheep. Did you know it was a gay go-go bar in the Nineties.
Talk about bah humbug, the Parc brunchers were not sporting green. Guess they were too kool for school.
same with the Rouge crowd.

Rittenhouse Square was busting with people
I'm sexy and I know it
Now this is Philly Street Style
O'Sheas was packed and although they didn't have a street permit it was hard to contain the crowd in the building alone. A few of the chicks on the balcony acted as if they were in New Orleans and gave the crowd a little something more.

I don't think drinking bear is something I would strive to do in the one piece three leaf clover suit

This is probably what Lady Gaga looks like on St Patrick's Day
The penny man walks. You might have seen him around town with his coinified vest and pants. Here he's just sporting his hat and a St Patrick's Day tshirt
Can you spot the Happy Rooster? Then I went and covered the AIDS Fund Black Tie Bingo, which is on PhillyMag.com today under The Philly Post, under The Scene. Check that out. Then dinner with Toub. When I emerged from Del Frisco's the streets were quiet. Everyone seemed to have gone home. I did see lots of drama with cabs & leprechauns. Check out PCC other entry today: Celebs I saw this weekend.
(Nothing like having 3 entries to compete with each other, but Philly you keep me busy. Also did you catch me on Fox 29 at 9AM this morning. Love that Mike & Shenielle.)
