Celebrity stylist is an over used word, but not when it applies to Jen Abrams. She has worked with fashion icons ranging from InStyle's Hal Rubenstein to The Kardashians to Isaac Mirahi. In the early '00's Jen co-founded trend setting clothing company, Sugar Tush. The cute clothing line was worn by celebs including Gwyneth Paltrow and Courtney Cox. Jen splits her time between Philly, LA & NYC. Styling celebrities, but she also does wardrobe consulting, personal styling, she's been a fashion correspondent/host, and does branding & PR for the fashion/beauty industry. Last week Jen was in Philly hosting Reese Witherspoon's new movie "This Means War", which has a special screenings on Valentine's Day. Speaking of Valentine's, above Jen is with her beau Joe Petrusky, CrossFit Love (Have you seen Megan Smith lately. She's looking hot after her CrossFit Love,) Jen's rocking aJill Milan bagJen greets friends Michelle Seidman and Meredith Hoffman Ellen Langas and Brian Fillion DeAnna Allen and Diane Godlewski of AStyledlike, and Alloyius McIlwaine, Culture Clothing Kenny Endt, Katie Shaw, Julie Shaw and Kyle Shaw Derek, Thor Booker, Kristin Camiel and Jen. Kristin is looking forward to the Koresh Artist Showcase February 25 at 7pm. The DeRose Family: Joe, Christina, Juliet and Liz. Juliet is Jen's assistant, and is very fashionable herself. Donna Coghlan,who's been enjoying romantic suburban bliss lately, makes and appearance with Meredith Trotter and Kristin Camiel Jen, no shy gal, welcomes her guests to the triangle love story involving Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy This Means War has a special screening on Valentine's Day, then opens wide on 2/17/12 according to Ann-Marie Nacchio, ALLIED-THA After the event we headed over to amazing cuisine and spirits at Positano Coast, where the party continued til about midnight. What Movie Is Filming In Philadelphia
"Dead Man Down" The Greater Philadelphia Film Office confirmed that Colin Farrell, Terrence Howard, and Noomi Rapace in Philly filming of Dead Man Down. It’s a New York-set mob movie, directed by Niels Arden Oplev, who previously worked with Rapace on the original Swedish adaptation of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
This week they're on Walnut Street between 16th and 18th Streets. Avoid Center City above Broad St at all costs, until Friday night. Then again on Monday 5/7/12
Sigourney Weaver is also filming in town until June. Mostly in South Philly and in West Chester. 6-episode drama series from Greg Berlanti and Laurence Mark, and James Wolk. The production office is up and running, and they should begin filming in April
