Photos Thanks to those who trekked into Jersey for The Judy Wilkins' the 2nd Annual Gilda's Club of SJ Benefit

Happy Birthday my beautiful sister Judy Dillon Wilkins. Today would have been Judy's 51st birthday, but her life was cut short by cancer, Ovarian Cancer to be specific. The whispering disease as many women don't realize they have it until to late, and neither did Judy. But today I celebrate her life, and I thank my friends and family for supporting the 2nd Annual Judy Wilkins Gilda Club of SJ event we had at Fleming's Steakhouse in Marlton NJ on Monday. (Judy above with my youngest sister Crista. Judy knitted this afghan for family friend Colleen Walsh Spangler for her wedding.)
Walt Wilkins and Margie Spurlock, ABC's Bachelor Season 2010 Craig Robinson and Susie Celek. I love that Margie wore teal, which is the color for Ovarian Cancer. Last year I had two events in Judy's honor and we raised a total of $10,000 at those two events.
My buddy/co-worker at Fox 29's Good Day Philadelphia Mike Jerrick came out to support the event. He's with my sisters Tracy Boneventure and Crista Bateman in front row, Margaret Goleash, Janine DeFeo and Ray LaGreca in the back row. Also spotted Lisa and Diane Libertella, Maryanne Massi, The Shusters, and so many others as the night was a big wonderful blur of happiness.
My Gilda's Club team mates, Gloss PR Cori Moskow and Ilana Waber with representatives from Gilda's of SJ, Gilda’s Club South Jersey’s Development Director Lauren Crenshaw and CEO Sarah Griffith. Thanks to City of Hope for adding to the great rafffle. I had equally great stuff on both tables raffles and silent auction, so that everyone could have a chance at winning something fun. We had signed Flyers hockey pucks (Thanks to my brother Ray LaGreca), and a Tommy Lasorda signed ball in both auctions (Thanks for the donation from NBC10's Deanna Durante).
Mom her friend Fred, Jon Dorenbos and my sisters Tracy (l) and Crista (r). Crista just had her third child in less than 4 years, doesn't she look great? She wanted to have them all before she was 35, she had a plan.
Paula Lisenbee and fiance Philadelphia Eagles, and a darn good singer (go youtube him) Julian Vandervelde.
My good friends Julie and Jon Dorenbos with Rose and Tom Cunningham, Rose is with the David Akers Foundation. She won the Andy Reid signed football. I wonder what is to become of that?

I support Gilda's Club because of the free services they provide to people, men or women suffering from cancer. The services include support and networking groups, lectures and workshops, social activities including the knitting club which I am raising money to rename in honor of Judy. We only have $5,000 left to reach our goal of $25,000
The effort will not stop there, as Flemings is committed to hold an event at their Marlton restaurant for as long as we are willing to have it. I am so touch by the generosity of everyone. And the support of my friends who came out, especially in that crazy traffic of South Jersey. I don't know how anyone commutes. Above: Carmena Ayo-Davies, 3B Markting, GN Kang, Kristen Celins and Nicole Herring.

Thanks to Mike Jerrick for setting up this shot of the room. Check out my segment on Fox 29 Wednesday morning at 9:15AM, and also my column in Philly Mag today to see another pix & story, ok it's similar to this one. Thanks to everyone who made this a success: Over 125 people came out to support the event. Thank you all very much. We will be doing it again next year. In the meantime if you would like to make a gift to Gilda's Club in honor of my sister, Judy Wilkins Click HERE. Happy Thanksgiving, and thanks.

Holiday Inn Express "Thanksgiving Party" - One of The Best Decorated Rooms This Year!! Plus PhillyChitChatter Gossip

Last night Shady McCoy was at Del Frisco's missing singer Brandy by one night, who was there on Monday. Wanda Sykes was spotted at El Vez with wife Alex and a few friends. Gordon Ramsay, in town last week to make over two restaurants, Chiarella's and Zocalo, stopped by On Monday night he came in with two guests and sat downstairs. He asked the server to send out whatever was recommended, so the server, manager and sous chef sent out a bunch of dishes including: guacamole and salsa, ceviche, lamb chops, poblano mole and verde mole. They drank Jefe margaritas (Don Julio tequila with Combier and Lime). The next night he returned with more guests to try out the Jose Garces eatery. (Above in the Fox 29 Good Day Studios with Mike Jerrick (right) and on left Greg Russell, owner of Zocalo, and his daughter Gabriela)

Ron Jaworski is the new spokesperson for mobile tire installer, TireVan, in the Philadelphia market. Now if only I can get a glasses sales person to make a visit to my home.

Opened: Athleta Opens its first Philadelphia store in the 17oo block of Walnut Street. It certainly fills a gap cause I hear two big stores will be leaving Walnut Street after the holiday spirits have died down. Can we get a Crate and Barrel, how about a Container store at the old Borders, please?

The leaves are just past their peak, but it's just the beginning of holiday party season. Every year my social calendar is kicked off with a visit to the Holiday Inn Express "Thanksgiving Party", to thank their clients and friends for their business the previous year.
Although it was a cold and damp night out, the ball room on the 7th floor was decked out in fall finery and with lots of delicious delights to nibble on. Provided the food for the night was Moriarity's down the street. (Although not on tonight's menu, I recommend their chicken wings.) John Magaldi did the decorations with his team. Really magnificent. Our hosts were JoAnn Bongart, GM Holiday Inn Express, Alicia Raffensberger, Director of Sales, Marny Kolsky, Room Sales Manager, Jennifer Benedict, Sales Representative, and John Magaldi, Meeting Sales Manager. This year the Holiday Inn Express is undergoing a renovation, and the team is looking forward to making your stay even more beautiful.
Danielle Ramey and Meg SokoraiMalika Pitt and Brooke Ransome appreciate that the Holiday Inn has this party especially because they can enjoy their co-workers company away from work where it can sometimes be hectic.
Jeff Liebreich, Ticket Sales Manager, The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and Joan Rivera, Tour & Travel Sales Manager at Entertainment Cruises Inc.
Christina Buchelz, Darcy Hill and Diane Melino
The turnout was impressive

Check back tomorrow to read my Thanksgiving Day entry on my Gilda's Club Charity Event in honor of my sister Judy Wilkins (It would have been her 51st birthday too. STYLE WARS AT JOSEPH ANTHONY'S & Botox Specials for Black Friday

Come back on Thanksgiving to check out the Photos from the 2nd Annual Judy Wilkins Gilda's Club Benefit photos (That would have been Judy's 51st Birthday 11/24), Check PhillyMag today and also tune into Fox 29 at 930AM cause I will be chatting about the party, and Bradley Cooper of course. Jon Dorenbos does his amazing card tricks for my mom, sister Crista, her husband Michael, my friends Jody Shaw and Kenny in the back row.

A few weeks back I went to Joseph Anthony's Style Wars, which I covered on Fox 29 last month but never did a write up about. Now what unfortunately does happen this far out and because of lack of time, it's an abbreviated write up. But you'll still get the flavor of this very special nite. If this is your last day at work this week, have a safe travel day tomorrow, but remember to read as I will be posting each day this week I have a lot of content from my exhausting two weeks.Joe and Kellie Gagliotti who own Joseph Anthony Salon (Glen Mills) hosted "Style Wars" which benefited "Adopt A Pig", on last month.
Alana Tosti, Philadelphia Wedding and Emily Goulet, Philly Mag with Damien Zillas and Sarah van Aken

Adopt A Pig is an organization helping children and their families cope with pediatric cancer. The proceeds from Style Wars 2011 will support the Coping Kit program. The Coping Kit is something Adopt A Pig is providing to every single family who has a child diagnosed with cancer at DuPont Children’s Hospital in Wilmington.
Founder of Adopt A Pig, Robert Amand, Joe Gagliotti and Tabatha Coffey of Bravo's hit television show, Tabatha’s Salon Takeover
Buy a pig. Fill it up with change, then donate it back to the organization to help kids.
Style Wars competition consists of stylists and employees of Joseph Anthony competing for the most fashionable, outrageous styles. But its really all about charity. As I said on Fox 29, it's a top notch show that sets a standard on how runway shows should be. Check out this set up, lights and seating. This is normally the Joseph Anthony parking lot.
There was entertainment
knock out fashion
And "winners", but the real winner was the kids. Check this out next year when they do it again. You won't be disappointed by the good time you'll have.
