pick up a few. The With Love hoagies are just one of the many ways consumers can experience GPMTC’s With Love promotion. Launched in 2009, GPTMC’s With Love, Philadelphia XOXO™ campaign appeals to many different audiences through various letters addressed to travelers. Penned by the city itself, the letters let a bit of Philly “atty-tude” through while extending the invitation to visit.
The Minetti With Love:Michael Minetti, a resident of Conshohocken, won all three competitions. His recipe included hot capacola, Thumann’sHomestyle turkey breast, thinly sliced pepperoni, hot pepper cheese and mozzarella cheese. 2011 Philadelphia Whiskey Festival - A Note From Me

Had a great time last night at the Whiskey Festival. I had an event right before that I will be writing about tomorrow, so I only had an hour to capture the WF story. So I was a madman getting the shots I thought would make my column compelling and interesting. (I like to tell a story, I want you to tell me something interesting, I want to see fashion too.) Sorry if I didn't stop to say hi when you called out or waved, or if I couldn't remember your name. I really have terrible name recall. I would love it if when you greet me you tell me your name and or write it down on my pad, as I have very little time to try and figure it out. I really do appreciate you reading my blog, and supporting me, and am crushed when you think I don't care because I can't remember who you are. I'm just ditzy that way. Thanks for understanding. Happy Week Before Thanksgiving:)

Bradley Cooper - Silver Linings Playbook in Center City, Plus Lots of Celebrity Sightings at Eateries

Thank you to all my tipsters for your initial tips that allowed me to piece this entry together.

**********************

David O'Russell
brought his Silver Linings Playbook to Center City at the end of last week. Wednesday through Friday evening the production filmed at the Ben Franklin House' lobby. (Which by the way is now a Korman Suites & still an apartment building with medical offices. My dentist is there, I wanted to get an emergency appt but was too busy.) Sources tell me they were filming a scene where Jennifer Lawrence's character checks into the hotel, and Bradley Cooper is accompanying her. (The following 2 photos Facebook - BC News)
Bradley Cooper's character is Pat Peoples in the Silver Linings Playbook. He just go out of Norristown Hospital after 4 years, but he thinks it was only 4 months. I guess that's where the comedy part comes in, otherwise it sounds depressing. Clever that the production labels the chair Pat and not Bradley Cooper. Cooper did sign for peeps in the lobby, but for most of the two days the place was in lock down mode.

( Thanks to my advertisers this week: Secrets Limo ; CTO Entertainment;
Recess Lounge; Teuscher Chocolates; The Shops at Liberty Place; Del Frisco's - Book your holiday party now, and get $100 gift certificate with every booking. The LAB; Anne Nikolaus Stella Dot Jewelery. ; Christopher Gabello Studios ; Woodford Reserve; The Sporting Club (I've started training with Cliff there.)
Friday afternoon near Bradley Cooper's dressing room A Chick and Her Boobs were out running and met up with Cooper. Holly Cooper has stated to friends that her brother is no longer dating J-Lo, as I suspected last week on my Fox 29 Philadelphia segment. Read that Bradley Cooper is a mama's boy, and she didn't like her boy dating that fame whore. I hear she's dating a back up dancer, didn't she already do that? How'd that work out for you J-Lo?

Update: And with the above HC tidbit tweeted, Holly Cooper contacted me. Sweet girl, great cook. Check out her FB page with lots of delicious food pictures: (Holly didn't give me any of the info on this page besides link to her FB).
Friday night there was a wedding in the Ben Franklin Ballroom, so Silver Linings Playbook vacate the lobby and move to another location. Performing at that wedding was Erika Schiff from American Idol and “I Married A Mobster” and Tiffany Dawson, Glam Luxe. Sunday the duo were guests of Dr Oz at the Philadelphia Eagles game. Tiffany, John Bolaris, Dr Oz, Erika Schiff and Timmy Ciccone (wonder if he's related to Madonna?) OK back to the movie, where did Silver Linings Project go..

Friday night, they took the filming outside to Jewelers Row to film a Christmas Scene. (Mike Jerrick Twitter)
Talking about rocks: Congrats to my friends Jill Rizen and Andrew Hennig on their engagement at Barclay Prime Saturday night.
Later that night, after filming was done, actor Chris Tucker grabbed dinner at Tashan, then partied at G Lounge.

Saturday Sightings:

Julia Stiles headed to dhyana yoga on Walnut Street Saturday around noon to take a class w/

Bradley Cooper was at Tashan's on Saturday night with director David O' Russell, and cast members Jacki Weaver (who plays BC's mom), Brea Bee and Bollywood star Anupun Kher.

Robert De Niro had dinner at Talula's Table.Haley Joel Osment making his way down Broad St after his performance at in Red, which ended Sunday.

Brent Celek took a cell phone pix with a few fans ( Matthew Shindell, Matt Kanoff, Holly Steiner, Ashley Kanoff, Barrie Greenberg, Rachel and Marc Shaw) Friday night at Sampan. Chef/Owner Michael Schulson was

In Atlantic City where on Saturday night he he was the winner of cook off against in Atlantic City.

Team Derek gets a picture with Mohamed Ali as he arrives in town for Joe Frazier's funeral today. Also spotted Bernard Hopkins at Del Frisco's for dinner Sunday night.

Philly Peeps Elsewhere:Last week in LA there was a party for the Philly's Alex’s Lemonade, which raised more than $400,000 to fight childhood cancer. Some great folks in attendance including Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka above, Jimmy Kimmel, Laura Dern and more. Did that movie shot in Philly with Neil Patrick Harris ever hit the theaters, Bright Lights, Big City?

And Finally

Precious Director Lee Daniels attended the opening of "Hugh Jackman: Back on Broadway", Thursday night. A couple events coming up:
Monday Jimmy Rollins Havana Nights 11/14/11; Tues Asante Samuel Poker Event at Whisper 11/15/11; Cocktails and Crafts: Event for a No Kill City 12/2/11
Fleming's Prime Rib Steakhouse
