BROAD STREET BULLIED BY JASON STATHAM'S "SAFE" FILMING IN CENTER CITY

Center City is going to seem like a battle zone as the movie Safe will be filming car chases with gun fire over the next 3 nights on Broad Street between Locust and Chestnut Streets. As I reported last week in former Philly Mag column, and on PhillyChitChat the first nights filming will take place inside the Bellevue lobby, and at some point Stratham gets thrown through the lobby's new "breakaway" doors.

It sounds like they're going to allow the public to watch from a safe distance, but don't plan to park anywhere near the epic center as the movie trucks will be using the most prime parking spaces near the Bellevue. Plus Broad Street will be closed to vehicular traffic Wed thru Fri nights.Click to make larger

Filming will be before and after midnite. My source tells me they break for dinner at 12:30AM until 2AM If you see me out there say hi, and maybe you'll be on PhillyChitChat.com
