WHO: City Fitness, Northern Liberties newest full-scale gymnasium, is hosting the City Fitness Health Fair with guest host Blaire Galaton from the Booker Show! Special guests Ace DJs & Social Entertainment, Baby Boot Camp, Back on My Feet, Body Blendz Zone, City of Hope, Dr. Smith’s Footcare, Fuze Beverages, Get There From Here, Kildare’s, Las Cazuelas, My Touch of Healing, Riverside Rehab, the Red Cross, Nurse Partners, Triune and more are scheduled to attend! City Fitness trainers and an in-house nutritionist will be on premise to provide fitness counseling and dietary support.

WHAT: The City Fitness Health Fair is a free, public event for all ages and levels of fitness. Bring friends and family to learn expert tips on staying healthy in 2008. FIVE GUY BURGERS IS GETTING A RAW DEAL*

A few weeks back I went to get a burger at one of my favorite places (the other would be Lucky Strikes), and some guy proudly gave me a flyer and told me not to eat 'cause the place has vermin. I went in anyway because I was a bit suspicious, especially after reading the flyer.

The next day I confronted the guys and told them I look up Five Guys on the City's Health web page and Five Guys Burger got a clean bill of health, they were just not properly showing the inspection papers. Your document is misleading, especially since you have a mouse on it.
I said if you were really concerned about the eating habits of your fellow Philadelphians you would warn them about the other folks along Chestnut Street that actually have vermin warnings

Even CVS has infractions on a higher level than Five Guy Burgers

Well they laughed, it's really not about the cleanliness of the store, its that they are using non-union people for their new store in Bala Cynwyd. I tried to reason reason with them that they are misleading people as most folks won't read the bottom line.

How Many Steak Places can Philly Support in Center City?

I was walking by the Packard Building, er I mean Grande the other day, and I noticed the familiar orange application.

I guess I missed the notice about the House of Blues not going into this space as the application states that Del Frisco's is instead. It is a great space, but how many steak places can Center City, specifically the Broad and Chestnut area support? There's already Capital Grill, Ted's Montana, The Grill, Smith & Wollensky and my favorite place

Fago de Chao. Which I might add should lower it's salad bar price, currently at $20, and start a advertisement campaign directed at women. The reason: Not only is the salad bar delicious, but last week when I was there, there was about 120 people at 1PM, 100 were men. It's better than moving to Alaska to find an eligible guy.
